Why it matters
Live music is already happening.
Your audience just can’t see all of it.
Turn fragmented event information into a more useful experience for visitors, guests, readers and users.
More complete discovery
Bring festivals, concerts, bars, restaurants, breweries and small stages into one discoverable live-music layer.
Less editorial work
Reduce the time spent searching, entering, formatting and maintaining live-music listings by hand.
More useful visitor experiences
Help people find what’s on tonight, this weekend or near the places they already plan to visit.
One feed, many channels
Deliver the same approved destination feed to your website, app, map, calendar or visitor assistant.
Make better use of the live music already happening around you.
Coverage, permitted sources and update expectations are agreed for each organization.
The gap
There’s more live music than most calendars show.
Beyond festivals: the bars, breweries and small stages visitors stay for.
More than
½
of consumers check live music online before choosing where to go.
Nearly
80%
would stay longer if good music were playing.
Nearly
60%
would buy more food or drinks to keep enjoying the music.

Before you ask
Questions we get.
Clear answers for teams evaluating a governed live-music data integration.
API-first. Destination-governed.
Do we control which venues appear?
Yes. You define the territory, priority venues, exclusions and review rules. GigsHQ sources and structures eligible live-music information within those rules, and your organization keeps the final say on which venues appear in your visitor-facing experience.
Do we have to replace our current calendar?
No. The GigsHQ API can add a specialized live-music layer to your existing website, app or events calendar. Your current tools stay in place; the approved feed covers live music alongside them.
Does our team have to approve every event?
No. The goal is to avoid manual event entry and ongoing review of every listing. Your team sets the venue and review rules, then steps in only to handle exceptions.
Can we include ticketed and non-ticketed live music?
Yes. The approved feed can include ticketed concerts and festivals, as well as eligible non-ticketed shows at bars, pubs, breweries and restaurants, within the venues and rules you approve.
How current is the data?
Update expectations are agreed during onboarding according to your territory, approved venues and permitted sources.
How does the API fit into our digital experience?
The API connects to the channels your visitors already use. Your team can integrate the approved feed into your website, mobile app, interactive map, events calendar or conversational assistant, in your own design.
Coverage rules, permitted sources and update expectations are agreed during onboarding and set out in your agreement.
